The RANDOM ACOUSTICS publishing house was founded in Cologne in 1993 by Georg Graewe, who, since 1974 had enjoyed an international reputation as composer, pianist and ensemble leader. Initially the label was founded in order to realise his first three publications. These first publications made the label instantly known and the international press reacted enthusiastically to the extraordinarily high artistic standard and the exquisite set up. | | The publisher's programme includes electronic music as well as contemporary chamber music, new jazz, and of course cross-overs in these areas. The new label's programme will continue to evolve in its internationalism, its extremely high artistic and technical quality, and high repertory value.
